Museum of the Future Achieves its Media Vision with Synology

The museum’s technical team has found the Synology-based approach to be a proven, reliable and essential component of the museum’s media storage and production management. The stability and flexibility of the Synology Disk Station Manager (DSM) have been a positive contribution to the team’s storage-related toolset. Museum of the Future, The Operational Experience The Challenge Growing storage demand for high-resolution media content Due to the large number of projects, The Museum of the Future needed a secure and reliable storage solution for their media content and video editing. With projects involving artworks, commercials, and video projections featuring high-resolution files up to 8K, the museum’s storage needs grew exponentially each year. To address the annual increase of roughly 110TB, the museum turned to Synology storage solutions to meet their expanding requirements. The Solution Adopting the SA series as scalable on-premises storage for growing media content The museum initially installed two SA3400 units, which now serve as the backbone of video and audio screens across its exhibitions. These units ensure seamless playback and robust performance for over 100 media display endpoints. Each SA3400 operates independently, utilizing distinct mechanisms to back up audio and visual files. With a combined storage capacity of over 100TB, the SA3400 units effortlessly handle the museum’s extensive media requirements. All-Flash units for seamless live video editing and rendering Powered by SSDs, DS3622xs+ units and FS3600 units are used for live video edits through macOS endpoints. The FS3600 units are used for their rack-mount configuration, making them easy to manage in a server rack. The DS3622xs+ were chosen for their lower noise impact in portable and office environments, and they provide high-performance storage for media editing functions. License-free backup for Multiple Office Solutions The video team utilizes multiple services for file sharing and collaboration. While exploring Synology’s DSM packages, they discovered the license-free Active Backup suite of solutions for multiple providers. This solution protects their different enterprise service account from data loss, allowing them to easily restore data whenever needed.  The Customer The Museum of the Future, envisioned by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, to institutionalize future-shaping. This extraordinary museum also known as a beacon of hope is located in the heart of Dubai where key attributes continue to drive both the museum and Dubai Future Foundation in their endeavors revolving around the future.  By combining futuristic designs crafted by artists and designers, the museum creates a unique attraction where visitors can explore and immerse themselves in a world that bridges the past and the future. The museum aims to provide light and hope in dark times, illustrating that today’s challenges are stepping stones to a better world

SHAKTI LEEKHA VENTURES: Delivering Business Ambition into Reality

Shakti Leekha Ventures Incorporates as a Private Limited Company, Closing Phase One of a Five-Year Journey Building and Globalising Indian Brands The practitioner-led growth advisory now scales its proprietary RASTA™ growth operating system and Sarthy service model to help global brands enter India and Indian businesses scale at home and abroad. Shakti Leekha Ventures (SLV) recently announced its incorporation as a private limited company, a structural step that marks the close of the firm’s first phase and the start of a scaled second chapter. Over five years, SLV has moved from a founder-led advisory into an institution-grade growth partner – and the conversion to a private limited company formalises that transition. The firm has spent that first phase inside the growth stories of Indian brands rather than beside them. SLV has been part of journeys from the earliest 0-to-1 build, through Series A investment, into unicorn scale, and on to the repositioning and transformation that carries an Indian brand into global markets. That range – startup to scale-up to global – is the firm’s distinguishing credential. Two proprietary offerings anchor the next phase RASTA™ – SLV’s growth operating system, an operating spine for leadership teams across Research, Analysis, Strategy, Tactics and Action, engineered to translate ambition into measurable execution. Sarthy – The service model through which SLV embeds alongside client teams, staying through execution rather than delivering a report and exiting. In FY 2026-27, SLV intends to scale both offerings. The firm is entering engagements with two kinds of client – global brands seeking a credible, well-executed entry into India, and Indian businesses looking to scale at home and expand into global markets. In both cases the mandate is the same – transformation that is designed, owned and delivered, not merely advised. Shakti Leekha Ventures is a Mumbai-based, practitioner-led growth and commercial-transformation advisory firm operating under the promise ‘Delivering Business Ambition into Reality’ and the strapline ‘Practitioners, not paper tigers.’ The firm partners with global brands entering India and Indian businesses scaling at home and abroad, through its proprietary RASTA™ growth operating system and Sarthy service model. SLV’s work spans growth strategy and go-to-market design, turnaround and transformation, India entry and global expansion, and investor readiness across the startup-to-scale-up lifecycle.
