It’s been 1 week since we successfully concluded the first iteration of our flagship Certified Master in Security Management Course in New Delhi. The 3-day course (from 12-14 Feb) brought together dedicated professionals from diverse backgrounds, including corporate security, operations, HR, and ex-defense personnel. With 22 in-depth sessions, our esteemed faculties shared invaluable insights on security management, covering a wide range of critical topics. This initiative would not have been possible without the collective effort of our expert speakers, engaged participants, and the support of industry leaders. We are grateful to everyone who contributed to making this course a success! This certification program is position as the top most recognition of holders provides in the field of industrial security management and very soon it will be seen the ultimate achievement by industrial security professionals. The perceived importance of the certification program can be fathomed by few faculties’ admissions of their willingness to get these certifications for themselves! We remain focused on our objective which is, ‘Let’s professionalise the Professionals.’
The inaugural batch of the Master in Security Management (MSM) course was successfully conducted from 12 to 14 February 2025 at the Institute of Social Sciences, New Delhi. This comprehensive certification program was attended by 18 security professionals from diverse backgrounds, ranging from Assistant Security Managers to Country Heads of Security and Management. Participants represented renowned organizations such as PVR, MMTC-PAMP, BPCL and ONGC.
Course format and coordination
The three-day course was conducted in a hybrid format, with the majority of participants attending in person, while a few joined virtually. The Co-Coordinator, Manan Batra, ensured seamless connectivity, effectively managing the hybrid model to maintain the quality of learning.

Certification and recognition
On 14th February 2025, the final day of the program, Prof. Tyagi addressed the participants, recognizing them as pioneers in industrial security management. The certification examination was successfully cleared by all attendees, and participants were awarded MSM badges and certificates. These credentials are a testament to their certified expertise in security management.

Future prospects
With the successful execution of this first batch, the next edition of the MSM course will be announced soon. The ICISS Master in Security Management program has established itself as a benchmark for professional development in the security sector, promising even greater engagement and impact in future batches. Surprising many faculties impressed by the high quality of knowledge being imparted to the participants, shared their desire to do the certification course themselves in next batch. Encouraged by the enthusiastic response ICISSM is planning to hold the next match in April 2025.
