This release brings enhanced video analytics to the X-Series Recorders, including attribute search for upper and lower body clothing color, tripwire detection, intrusion detection, and loitering analytics. These powerful tools deliver greater accuracy and actionable insights for proactive security management, meaning customers can benefit from advanced video analytics with any camera, including third-party cameras.
The company has also added additional channel licensing options for the X-Series Recorders, ensuring seamless scalability as customer needs evolve.
Easy-to-use features for seamless operations
The release includes several features designed to simplify workflows and improve user experience. March Networks’ business intelligence platform, Searchlight Cloud, now offers automated email reports, delivering key insights on transactions, sales and other data points directly to users’ inboxes. For example, the ‘Sales by Day Part’ dashboard allows QSR customers to track net sales performance across key time segments, or day parts, like breakfast, lunch, afternoon, dinner and late-night. This dynamic feature allows users to identify trends and make real-time decisions without logging into the Searchlight platform, as customers receive this critical data automatically by email.
Additionally, March Networks has developed a library of pre-developed, industry-tailored dashboards for quick access to essential metrics – reducing the need to develop custom dashboards during customer onboarding.
March Networks’ cloud sharing solution, Evidence Vault, now fully integrates with Veritone, enabling automated video redaction within the Command Web Client – eliminating time-consuming manual downloads and uploads.
Efficiency that drives results
New Mass Management tools in Command Enterprise Software streamline video system administration with remote system updates, password management and firmware upgrades for March Networks and third-party cameras.
Their new DevAPI enables third-party developers to seamlessly integrate March Networks video into their applications, supporting use cases like access control integration and remote video monitoring for alarm verification.
For more accurate real-time alerts with Smart Rules, ‘Test Mode’ has been released – to test alerts and refine them before launching across business. Smart Rules also has expanded functionalities to set aggregate rules for combining multiple criteria and data thresholds to trigger alerts. For example, customers can be alerted when the number of voided items is greater than 25% of sold items. These new features further reduce false positive alerts and improve overall efficiency.
