Edition Highlights Critical Fire Safety Challenges
The Passive Fire Protection Conference – Delhi Edition, held at Scope Auditorium, Lodhi Road, brought together professionals from the fire and life safety, construction, façade, engineering and compliance sectors to discuss the evolving role of passive fire protection.
The conference featured keynote sessions, technical and product presentations and an industry panel discussion, covering fire codes and standards, smoke management, façade fire safety, compartmentation, fire barriers, sandwich panels and firestopping.
Leading industry experts including V. Suresh, Dr. D. K. Shami, Ric Slappendel, Donel Dippi, Jothi Ramalingam, Sahil Kapur, Krishnakant Rane and Sajid Raza, shared insights on practical approaches to strengthening fire safety.
A key highlight was the panel discussion ‘Fire Stopping: Myth vs Reality,’ moderated by Sajid Raza, which brought together experts from DLF, TBWIC and Siderise to discuss practical fire-stopping challenges and field realities.
The conference provided a platform for industry stakeholders to exchange knowledge on codes, standards, compartmentation, façade safety and effective firestopping practices, reinforcing the importance of proper specification, installation and execution of passive fire protection systems.
